Riverside Golf Results for w/c August 22nd 2026
Last Thursday was the Final round of the Ladies Club Championships, which saw a new name emerge on the Honour Board. Tracy Lee, who had kept her lead over the two first rounds, stood tall and held her nerve in the last round to be named the Ladies 2026 Club Champion. Wendy Dawson did her best to catch Tracy, but had to settle for Runner up.
Lirlene Crozier was very pleased to be declared the B Grade Champion, in a closer tussle, with only two shots between her and Lyn Thompson.
Sunday the 22nd was a Medley Stableford and was played in two Grades.
Jake Kiel opened the week, with a win in A Grade, on a pleasing 39 points, in front of Ang D’Amico with 38 points.
Jason Spratt would have been happy with his B Grade win, but it was a close one, with a countback needed, to split him and runner up, Jonah Faulkhead, both players finishing on 35 points.
Balls (8) 33 points on a countback.
NTP’s : Zilzie Wines 4th – Ian Fleming 190cm and 18th – Claude Dawson 475cm.
Brandon Mercieca just snuck in for a win on Monday, in the Medley Stableford, with 34 points. Second place went to Ash Innes, after a countback against Ayaka Kirirua, both on 33 points.
Balls (3) 33 points.
NTP’s : 4th – Keith Willies 450cm and 18th – Ash Innes 190cm.
It was another Stableford on Wednesday in the Men’s comp, with two Grades required.
Andrew Forbes had an outstanding score of 42 points, for a comfortable A Grade win. Jake Garraway had 37 points and was runner up, after a countback with Wayne Innes.
Lucas Byron went two better, cleaning up with a sensational 44 points, for his B Grade win. Aaron Baynes came out the better in a countback against Peter Schroeder for his second place, both on 39 points.
Balls (14) 35 points.
Aaron Baynes played the Par four 13th hole perfectly, sinking his second shot for an Eagle.

Handicap : A Grade – Winner – Tracy Lee (67/75/74=216), Runner Up – Wendy Dawson – ( 77/73/75=225). B Grade – Winner – Lirlene Crozier 76/80/78=234), Runner Up – Lyn Thompson (76/83/80).
Thursday’s Stroke, Daily Comp, was yet another win for Tracy Lee, with (96/75), in a very memorable day for the 2026 Club Champion, but this win wasn’t before a countback against Linda Dickson (110/75), who took runner up and Wendy Dawson, who was a little unlucky (97/75).
Balls (3) 75 nett.
NTP’s : 7th – Lirlene Crozier 880cm, 12th – Janet Luke 190cm and 18th – Janette Mason 118cm.
It was a three way countback on Friday in the nine hole Medley Stableford, which saw Lachlan Highdale pocketing the win, on a very nice 22 points, in front of runner up, Jaydan Fox and Maya Harper, who just missed the cut.

Warrick Fisher had a lovely Eagle on the Par five 14th.
Saturday saw a fantastic field of 100, taking advantage of some magnificent weather. The Medley Par event was contested in three Grades.
The A Grade win went to Craig Jervies, when he completed a super round of (+4), over second placed Steve Wilmann with (+3).
A five way countback was called on to determine the placings in B Grade, with lucky falling Brent Smith’s way, sneaking in for the win, in front of runner up, Paul Graham. Which meant, Renae Jeffrie, Graeme Southwell and Brade Missen were wondering what could have been, when all finished Square.
But the round of the day had to go to Blaine Grills, in C Grade, after his exceptional (+8), seven in front of second placed Lindsay Mammone on (+1).
Balls (25) (-1).
