Golf Course Guide
I recently discovered a copy of the Riverside Golf Club Course Guide. I have scanned the images and made them available here. As the guide was published some time ago there are some problems, the 1st & 10th holes need to be swapped. The new bunker on the 14th is missing and the images need some tidying up. We will fix the problems in the near future, meanwhile enjoy.
12th October - Holes 1 & 10 are now correct, still some work to do thought.
New General Manager
We are pleased to announce that Brendan Bower has been appointed as our new General Manager. Brendan will be well known to many. He has a history in finance, has coached junior and senior sporting teams and managed the Mildura Function Centre. Brendan is also a golfer, very familiar with the Riverside Course. Brendan will start his role on Monday 25 September 2023.

Old Golf Clubs

Flood Recovery Fund Raising
In 2022 the Murray River flood hit the region and destroyed many properties along the river, one of them being our Golf Club, significant damage was done to the Levee Banks surrounding the course. See photos below.
The land which the course is situated on is owned by DECCA and we fall under the local municipality of Mildura Rural City Council, part of the levee is also managed by Parks Victoria. We have met with each of these agencies who have advised the responsibility of maintaining them lies with the Golf Club.
Without significant cash reserves we need to rely on our members and the local public to help us raise the funds required to rebuild them, if we don't even a high river or minor flood will result in the golf course being inundated again causing significant damage.
